Benjamin Chua

Associate Professor Ben Chua is a consultant Radiation Oncologist at the Royal Brisbane & Women’s Hospital, GenesisCare Rockhampton and Brisbane. He obtained his radiation oncology fellowship in 2015 after training in Queensland and regional New South Wales, including a fellowship in head & neck cancer. In addition, he has an interest in complex skin, CNS, thoracic and haematological malignancies, most of which are managed through multidisciplinary teams. A/Prof Chua has a conjoint appointment at the University of Queensland with an active academic portfolio, including competitive grant funding, supervision of higher degree students, and leadership of clinical trials. He has recently been appointed as Reference Committee Co-Chair of eviQ and is an invited member of the Scientific Advisory Committee of the Co-Operative Trials Group for Neuro-Oncology (COGNO). He is a current examiner and is actively involved in curriculum development for the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists.
