Sathira Perera
Dr. Sathira Kasun Perera is currently working as an emergency medicine doctor in Southwestern Sydney Local Health District. Following his undergraduate in medicine, he acquired postgraduate qualifications in public health, health economics and health technology assessment. His recent PhD with UNSW on health services demand analysis in Cancer Therapy, produced landmark publications on the optimal use of cancer surgery globally. He has played a key role in the Asia Pacific region on the applications of Health Technology Assessment, while contributing to the health system improvements via health services research and economic evaluations.
