Have been a registered nurse for 30 years and for at least 20 of these have worked as a Specialist Cancer nurse. Have worked in both the public and private sectors , caring for patients in the inpatient and ambulatory care settings.
For the past 10 years I have worked in Nurse Education , my career objectives are to leave a lasting positive impact on the Oncology/ Hematology nursing profession by providing evidence based education and developing critical thinking in novice and expert nurses.
Completed a Masters in Cancer Nursing in 2019, final project work was identifying education initiatives that improve critical thinking in clinical nurses.
