Megan Best
Dr Megan Best works as a Cancer Institute NSW Post-doctoral Research Fellow at the University of Sydney. Her clinical background is in Palliative Medicine and she has worked with the Psycho-Oncology Co-operative Research Group (PoCoG) since 2011, researching psychosocial issues in advanced cancer patients. She is a member of the Sydney University Cancer Research Network Steering Committee. She is currently project manager for two trials examining the psychosocial, behavioural and ethical Impact of genomic testing in cancer, known as the PiGeOn Project (Psychosocial Issues in Genomic Oncology), in collaboration with Garvan Institute for Medical Research.
