Daniel A Cehic
Dr Daniel Cehic is a cardiologist. He completed his undergraduate medical training at the University of Adelaide and his cardiology training at the Royal Adelaide Hospital and John Radcliffe Hospital in Oxford, England subspecialising in Electrophysiology. He returned to Australia in 1997 to join Adelaide Cardiology and became a Senior Visiting Cardiologist at the Royal Adelaide Hospital where he remained until 2008, subsequently leaving to take a full-time position to help shape Cardiology at GenesisCare. GenesisCare is Australia’s largest private provider of Cardiology and Oncology services, with over 80 Cardiology centres around the country. GenesisCare currently has CardioOncology clinics in all mainland states.
Daniel became the Chief Medical Officer – Cardiology at GenesisCare in 2017 and has developed an active interest in the field of CardioOncology, practicing in the Adelaide and Sydney clinics. Daniel also has expertise in health management and regulation and completed a Master of Business Administration at the Isenberg School of Management at the University of Massachusetts, USA. He is currently a Board Member of St Andrews Hospital in Adelaide, a practitioner member of the SA Board of the Medical Board of Australia and a member of the Clinical Advisory Council to the Commission on Excellence and Innovation in Health in South Australia.
